Scary Worm Boss in Defend Your Base From Scary Worm

Huge HP, a heal that punishes slow DPS, a wooden door it chews, and countdown timers that do not wait for your shop.

Scary Worm Boss

The Scary Worm is the entire win condition of Defend Your Base From Scary Worm. Evil Worm Simulator’s Roblox place (85070260180613, live since 28 February 2026, patched 3 September 2026) is not a lane-defense game with a dozen creep types. You claim a plot, you fund turrets and printers, and you try to kill this boss before it chews through the wooden door. Promotional art shows a max HP near 999,999. Treat that as art and HUD footage, not as a signed patch value, but plan as if you are racing a million-HP heal tank, because that is how the long clears play.

This page is behaviour, not a fake move list. The worm heals. The worm chews the door. The worm shows up after a countdown. Harder difficulties reuse the same plot. If you want ranks for the buildings that beat it, use the unit tier list. If you want the click sequence, use how to beat the worm. If you want the HP bar that actually ends your run, use how to protect the door.

Countdown, then chew

Footage calls the spawn in plain language: releasing boss in 25 seconds. That timer is the last moment to have a printer ticking, cheap DPS on the front angle, and repair in your fingers. The wave planner exists so you are not still shopping for a spear during that shout. Casual runs also talk in wave numbers — wave 13 shows up as a “this is how many times you have been playing this” checkpoint — but the important beat is always the same: when the worm is out, it walks to your door and starts eating HP.

The chew is why splash and single-target both matter. The boss is a huge body parked on wood. Mortars cover that body. Spear throwers chip early. Neither matters if you watch the worm and forget the door. Players in short videos keep the door near 400 HP on purpose; one run lets it fall to 30 and almost dies; later repairs cost 800. Upgrade can raise the ceiling (colored and diamond doors, with one line that upgrades cap around level 28). Repair is what interrupts the chew now.

Healing and the low-HP run

The Scary Worm heals. Full-clear commentary buys the blue high-tier damage unit — about 16,000 to step up, about 120 damage — specifically because that damage counters the heal. If your plot is still spears when the bar starts bouncing, you are not slow, you are losing a math fight. Mortars help. The blue unit is the finisher. Printers are how you afford both. That triangle is the endgame loadout.

The same videos note that the worm likes to run once it is really low. Chasing it off your pad while the door is still taking ticks is how a “we almost had it” screenshot becomes a wipe. Keep DPS on the body, keep repair on cooldown, do not treat a fleeing boss as a parade you have to follow across a neighbor’s plot. Co-op on a 35-player server can look like a shared kill. Your door is still a solo HP bar.

Difficulties are the same worm, meaner timing

One long video queues hard and talks about going all the way to impossible, then finishes every difficulty on a maxed base. That is the difficulty model we can defend: the same boss on the same door, with less room for a forgotten repair and a higher need for mortar ranks plus the blue finisher. We will not invent Forest, Desert, Freezer, or Lava maps. Those belong to other Roblox worm titles. If this place adds a new biome later, the updates hub is where that note will land.

Harder queues are not a reason to roll crates first. Footage banks 100+ gems after the maxed clear, then opens exclusive crates. During the fight, gems do nothing to the heal. Cash does. Follow how to farm so the printer is already doubling before you pick a tougher queue, and run the build checklist so you do not enter impossible with empty pads and a wooden door you have not practiced repairing.

What a winning fight looks like

  • Printer online, preferably already ranked toward the double.
  • Front pads filled with cheap DPS, then mortars, not left decorative.
  • Door held near 400 with repair; upgrades bought with spare cash only.
  • Blue unit saved or placed when heal starts winning.
  • No crate UI open while the countdown or the chew is live.
  • After the kill, gems. Not before.

Best builds is the pad layout that supports that list. Getting started is the first-hour version with 450 cash. This boss page does not replace those guides; it explains why they obsess over a door and a heal. The worm is not a secret mechanic with a hidden stun you needed a datamine to learn. It is a giant HP sponge that punishes empty grass and a repair button you did not click.

If the bar is huge, that is intended. If it heals, shoot harder with the late unit, do not spam more C-tier farms. If it chews, repair. If the countdown is running, you are already late for placement. Beat that loop on the difficulty you queued, then spend the gems. The smiling worm on the thumbnail is the whole game — keep the wood standing long enough to wipe the smile off the HP bar.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How much HP does the Scary Worm have?

Promotional art shows a max near 999,999. Treat that as observed HUD/art, not an official datamine. Plan for a huge heal tank and read how to beat the worm.

Does the worm heal during the fight?

Yes. Full-clear footage buys the ~16k / ~120 blue unit specifically to outpace that heal. Mortars help; spears alone do not win the race.

Why does my door die while I still have turrets?

The worm chews the door, not your DPS total. Keep it near 400 HP with repair. How to protect the door is the matching guide.

Are there Forest or Desert maps?

Not in this place. Difficulties in footage are harder queues of the same worm on the same plot. Do not import maps from Defend Your Base from 67.

What does the boss countdown mean?

Footage shouts a release timer around 25 seconds. That is your last window to place cheap DPS and check repair. Use the wave planner before it starts.

Can teammates kill the worm for me?

They can add damage on a 35-player server, but they cannot keep your door at 400. Your plot still needs printers, splash, and repair — see the build checklist.
